As Donny and I sat comfortably in our house tonight watching footage of Hurricane Sandy's destruction, I realized just how thankful I was that we were not really affected by the hurricane. Both of us have been following the numerous stories throughout the week and have seen so many photos. However, if a picture is worth a thousand words, a video must be worth a million, because we were affected on a whole new level. On that note, I will keep this post short and sweet and let one of the many touching videos make my point.

30 Days of Thankful - Day 2
Day 2: For the roof over my head, food in my pantry, and gas in my car (that did not require waiting in line for hours).
