What could be better than running a marathon to fight cancer? Running a marathon to fight cancer with 550 people who share your hatred for the disease... well that, and a love for socializing.
Whether we're kicking back at Boston Beer Works or embarking on a long run through the Newton hills, I always have a good time. We can share stories of surviving cancer and stories of loved ones that lost their battles over a beer without it seeming awkward. Somehow, in sharing these stories, I have an ever increasing appreciation and enthusiasm for life; for that, I am incredibly grateful.
